Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School in Danielson (Killingly), CT, seeks an Anticipated Robotics and Automation Department Head to lead the Robotics and Automation program and teach related theory and hands-on topics.

The role focuses on instruction, leadership, and department operations within a welcoming CTE environment. The position is full-time, first shift (35 hours/week), with opportunities for professional development and a clear pathway to department leadership within the Connecticut

Qualifications

• Connecticut Teacher Certification Occupational Subject Endorsement #090 in Electronics/Mechatronics/Robotics and Automation or eligibility for a Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP).

Responsibilities

• Educate students on robotics principles, electronics schematics, PLCs and control systems.
• Lead instructional activities and manage department operations as Department Head.
