Job summary

Weave Robotics on the San Francisco floor is seeking a manufacturing leader to run the robot-building line. You will own the build schedule, coordinate a team of machinists and technicians, and ensure weekly production aligns with delivery dates.

You will develop assembly processes, monitor metrics, and maintain quality while collaborating with engineering to improve manufacturability and throughput. This role requires hands-on leadership and a track record of delivering high-volume

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading assembly, manufacturing, or production teams building complex electromechanical products.
• Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on leadership on the production floor coaching technicians and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the build schedule: plan weekly production, sequence work, hit delivery dates.
• Manage the production team day-to-day: staffing, scheduling, training, and performance.
• Develop assembly processes: establish procedures, work instructions, quality checkpoints, workflows.
• Track production metrics: units/week, first-pass yield, cycle time, rework and scrap trends.
• Maintain process discipline: ensure instructions followed and no undocumented workarounds.
• Bridge engineering and production: feed manufacturing insights back to engineering.
