Job summary

Standard Bots is seeking an Applications Engineer to help architect robotic solutions from design to installation and support. You will travel to customer sites to install, program, and validate Standard Bots solutions, working with sales, engineers, and customers to deliver impactful automation in new applications.

The role requires hands-on electrical, software, and mechanical experience, with familiarity in automotive/manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across electrical, software, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation.
• Experience in production or assembly environments and can discuss cycle times, uptime, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and customers to design robotic solutions, serving as a technical resource.
• Own installations end-to-end — traveling to customer sites to install, program, and validate solutions in the field.
• Create technical enablement materials including sample code, application notes, and white papers.
• Collaborate with in-house engineering to test and refine new features and integrations as the product expands.
• Contribute to marketing efforts by developing collateral that communicates the value of Standard Bots solutions.
