Job summary

Semiconductor Industrial Automation seeks a Robotics Application Engineer (Vacuum system) to address customer requests and drive prototype designs for vacuum robot applications. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to deliver within stated timelines.

Responsibilities include creating CAD drawings, 3D models and engineering documentation, plus providing technical guidance on robot systems and field support on customer sites with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of application experience in automation or semiconductor vacuum environments.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of automation systems and operation theory.
• Experience using AutoCAD and NX software.
• Experience with vacuum environment robotics.

Currently our client Semiconductor Industrial Automation company is looking for a Robotics Application Engineer (Vacuum system).

Job Description:

• Respond to customer’s request on semiconductor robot application.
• Lead the activity of prototype design projects following project process. Provide guidance to mechanical design team, electrical team, software team and prototype team to complete robot application within committed timeline.
• Create CAD drawings, 3D models and engineering documents to meet customer’s expectations.
• Provide technical guidance on robot system issues.
• Provide field support on customer’s site, including domestic or oversea travels.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 year college degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of application experience in automation or semiconductor industry related to vacuum environment equipment.
• Experience with 3D and 2D CAD software.
• Knowledge of automation system, including the theory of operation, key components, major failure mode.
• Experience using AutoCAD software
