Holland LP is seeking an on-site equipment operator to support quality rail services and assist with training junior staff. The role requires strict adherence to safety programs and company procedures, with responsibilities including operating equipment, completing paperwork, and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, and possess a valid Class A CDL. Pre-employment testing and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
• Good interpersonal skills with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Satisfactory completion of company training programs.
• Must maintain reliable transportation to get to and from job sites.
• Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland L.P.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Those that possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) must abide by our Corporate Fleet Policy

JOB SUMMARY:

To assist with all functions related to providing quality rail services to Holland’s customers. Possess the ability to train upcoming personnel. Must maintain Holland Company’s equipment and fill in for Supervisor/Manager in their absence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but not limited to:

• Operate Holland equipment efficiently and safely

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Standing, walking, bending, and working safely on rough, uneven surfaces or terrain.
• Ability to lift & carry up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 70 pounds on rare basis.
• Vision must be sufficient for reading instrumentation & measuring devices.
• Ability to climb a steep ladder frequently.
• Ability to travel via ground, air and rail up to 100% of the time

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions
• Exposure to extreme heat and cold
• Dusty environment
