Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of robotic welding experience.
• Completion of Shape U Weld Tech I Curriculum with passing grade.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Successful completion of Weld Tech Trainee Period with probation.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operation of welding cells.
• Troubleshoot and reteach robots.
• Maintain MIG/TIG/Spot welders.
• Adjust welding fixtures as needed.
• Ensure safety of robots for associates.
• Apply manufacturing best practices for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with vendors and project teams.
