Technique, Inc. is seeking a skilled welding technician to set up welders, program and adjust Motoman, Panasonic, and Fanuc robots, and maintain robotic welders to ensure high-quality joints.

You will perform 1st piece layouts and support QA with precise measurements. This full-time role requires 2 years welding experience in manufacturing, familiarity with GD&T and blueprints, CAD and SolidWorks, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational training
• 2 years of welding experience in manufacturing
• GD&T and blueprints understanding
• Proficient with Motoman, Panasonic, and Fanuc robots
• CAD and SolidWorks proficiency
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Set up welders and welds; troubleshoot basic GTAW and GMAW joints
• Perform 1st piece layouts to support QA
• Program and adjust robotic welders to ensure good welds
• Maintain robotic welders and calibrate with CMM feedback
• Package parts for shipping
• Complete job documentation for production runs
