Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a hands-on Robotic Welding Programmer to join its manufacturing team. You will develop, optimize, and support robotic welding programs, fixtures, and processes to meet production goals with quality and safety in mind.

Ideal candidates have experience programming robotic weld cells (ABB preferred), read drawings, troubleshoot, and collaborate across maintenance, engineering, and production to drive uptime and throughput on the floor.

Qualifications

  • Welding certificate or technical degree; relevant experience.
  • Robotic weld cell operation and programming experience.
  • ABB experience preferred; PLC programming knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and engineering data.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, maintain, and improve robotic welding and automation programs.
  • Independently develop and optimize robotic programs to meet production, quality, and efficiency targets.
  • Read drawings, work instructions, and engineering data to support program creation.
  • Analyze programs to improve weld quality, cycle time, uptime, and repeatability.
  • Troubleshoot and support corrective actions to reduce production delays and quality issues.
  • Support tooling, fixtures, and part development for robotic welding.
