Qualifications

• 7+ years in welding automation or pre-sales roles.
• Solid understanding of GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG in automation.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for cell layouts (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical feasibility reviews with customer parts and drawings.
• Architect welding automation concepts and robot cell layouts (FANUC/ABB).
• Develop technical proposals with layouts, cycle times, labor hours, and BOMs.
• Coordinate weld trials and feasibility testing before contracts.
• Travel to client facilities (~15%) to gather requirements and present solutions.
• Ensure proposed weld processes meet industry standards and customer specs.
