Job summary

Stanley Black + Decker is seeking a Robot Welding Part Loader for the 3:00pm–11:30pm shift in Hesston, KS. The role involves loading parts into a robotic welding line, following standard processes to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and operating or assisting with robot controls and inspection.

Requirements include a High School diploma (GED acceptable for the pre-treatment system), adherence to safety standards, and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School / GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

Responsibilities

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
• Use hand tools such as grinders or finishing tools to ensure quality product
• Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection
• Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint
• Move and lift parts by hand or with hand tools
