Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring for a Robot Welding Part Loader on 1st shift (6:30 AM–2:30 PM) in Hesston, KS. The role involves operating a robotic welding line, assembling units, and ensuring quality through inspection and adherence to safety standards. Starting pay is $18.21 per hour with a comprehensive benefits plan.

You will follow standard work, read blueprints as needed, and handle parts with hand tools to maintain efficient production and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School / GED preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

Responsibilities

• Assemble or fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture.
• Operate and control the robot; perform cleaning and inspection.
• Read and understand operation standards, such as blueprints, as needed.
• Move and clamp parts by hand or with hand tools to secure parts during welding.
• Maintain a safe, productive workflow on the welding station.
