Job summary

Afinitas in Sleepy Eye, MN is seeking a skilled Robotic Weld Operator to join our night shift team. You will set up and operate robotic welds, adjust machine settings, and read blueprints to meet production specs.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of robot programming experience, basic Fanuc knowledge (R-J3iB and R-30iB), and are comfortable using welding equipment. Night shift adds a $2/hour differential and a comprehensive benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of robot programming experience.
• Basic knowledge using Fanuc systems including R-J3iB and R-30iB.
• Experience with robot welding and basic knowledge of robot functions.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate robotic welds in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specifications and production demands.
• Operation of light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift.
• Reads and interprets machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, sequences of operations, setups, and tooling requirements.
• Troubleshoot robot system when breakdowns occur.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and safety; follow PPE requirements.
• Attend to production schedules and communicate issues to supervisors.
