Job summary

Afinitas is seeking a manufacturing technician to set up and operate robotic welds, adjust equipment, read blueprints, and troubleshoot robot systems in a fast-paced plant environment in Minnesota. The role requires forklift experience, robot programming, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and collaborating with a team to meet production targets while earning $20–$22 per hour plus a $2 shift differential for night work,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience with robot welding and basic knowledge of robot functions.
• 2 years of experience with programming robot.
• Basic knowledge using Fanuc systems including R-J3iB and R-30iB.
• Basic mathematics skills and ability to read a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic welds per established procedures and guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and production demands.
• Read and interpret machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints for specifications.
• Troubleshoot robot system when breakdowns occur.
• Cleans and maintains workstation; adheres to safety procedures.
• Operate hand tools related to steel fabrication.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and general maintenance.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
