Job summary

Carli Suspension LLC is seeking a Robotic Welding Operator to support the setup, maintenance, and operation of robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will run welding programs, troubleshoot issues, and assist in developing weld quality controls.

The role requires reading blueprints, following welding procedures, and performing preventative maintenance on robots and welders. Strong teamwork and safety-mindedness are essential.

Description

Robotic Welding Operators are responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of robotic welding equipment. Robotic Welding Operators are critical to the fabrication of metallic parts or assemblies through welding by the means of a robotic machine. Operators are responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting welding robots.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in robotic arc welding, metals fabrication, automated technology, advanced manufacturing, etc. preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual
• Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
