Job summary

Steel Craft Corp. is seeking a Robotic Welder to operate robotic welding systems in a steel fabrication environment. The role focuses on GMAW welding on various metals, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality control to ensure precise welds.

You will work with fabricators and inspectors to meet customer specifications and log information into the ERP system. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of production welding experience, knowledge of weld symbols, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production welding.
• Must obtain necessary weld certifications.
• Proficiency in math, measurement, and geometry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of work instructions and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding equipment to weld on various metals.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols to determine requirements.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance under supervision.
• Monitor welding operations for precision and quality.
• Identify and repair weld defects.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment.
• Accurately log job information into ERP and complete paperwork.
