PTMW, Inc. is seeking a competent welder to operate our Robotic Weld Machine. The Robotic Welding Operator will perform soft programming, set up robots for specific welds, and monitor production to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and perform manual welding when required. The role requires welding certifications (D1.1/FCAW) and the ability to pass internal QA tests; experience with galvanized and mile steel is noted.

Formación

• One year of related weld experience or equivalent education/training.
• General welding certifications and/or certification in robotic welding.
• Certified in or able to pass welding tests; D1.1/FCAW requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints; use hand tools for welding tasks.
• Set up robots for specific welding jobs and select the correct program.
• Monitor robot operation; adjust controls if automatic programming faults occur.
• Load and unload material using an overhead crane as needed.
• Perform manual welding during robot cycles and inspect welds for quality.
