Louis Industries, Inc. in Paynesville, MN is seeking a Robotic Welder Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will weld and assemble parts using MIG welding and fabrication equipment according to blueprints and instructions, with opportunities to advance into robotic welding roles.

As you gain experience, you may grow into automated welding systems, while maintaining safe, efficient production. This role offers competitive pay and benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years welding experience OR welding technical school training.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using computers and production software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to learn robotic welding systems.

Responsibilities

• Load parts into robotic welding fixtures and secure them properly.
• Start and monitor robotic welding programs.
• Inspect welded parts for quality and consistency.
• Make minor robot program adjustments such as touch-ups or position edits.
• Perform light touch-up welding when needed.
• Set weld parameters such as voltage and wire speed.
• Maintain robotic welding cells and keep equipment organized and efficient.
