Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is hiring motivated welders. If you have MIG and/or TIG welding skills and can work with steel or aluminum, join a stable, well-supported team that values quality and craftsmanship.

Shift is 2nd, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with overtime options. Starting pay is competitive with premiums for robotic welding and shift differentials. Benefits include comprehensive health, 401(k), pension, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience.
• Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
• Experience with at least one welding process and ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification.
• Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly (lifting devices available).
• Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes.
• Use fixtures to position components and control distortion.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed.
• Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed.
