Job summary

Samuel, Son & Co. in Wisconsin seeks a Robotic Welder to perform daily maintenance and operate robotic welding equipment, adhering to safety rules and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, use MRP/ERP systems, and complete 90 days of hands-on training to achieve autonomous operation. A High School diploma or GED is required, with industrial experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED or 1 year in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform daily equipment check lists (IE crane checks, equipment checks, etc.).
  • Meet welder II requirements including quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform as a hand welder to fit-up vessels and weld out areas not robotically accessible.
  • Independently operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
  • Successfully utilize fixtures to setup jobs.
  • Make minor adjustments as needed to operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
  • Other related duties as required.
  • Utilize a computer with basic software skills.
  • Utilize MRP/ERP system effectively.
  • Complete 90 days of hands-on robotic welding training.
  • Independently use the robotic welding software.

Education and Certifications
  • Must have either a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.
  • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
  • Must have a basic understanding of computers.
  • Must have reading, writing and simple math skills.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work experience in related industry is an asset but even if you do not have this, we still want you to apply. On the job training will be provided.
