Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking a Robotic Welder to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on operating robotic weld cells, ensuring high-quality welds, and maintaining safety and process standards.

Candidates should be trained or willing to be trained in welding operations and resistive welding, with the ability to read weld prints and interpret specifications. This position supports production through maintenance of equipment and adherence to company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to train and work with others (Team Concept).
• Ability to do basic math.
• Be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity
• Reliability

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product quality, workmanship and process applications consistent with the company's manufacturing objectives.
• Follows safety guidelines and monitors use of safety devices, equipment, departmental housekeeping, and maintain constant alert for hazardous conditions.
• Maintain conformance with Company work rules and regulations.
• Trained and certified for all welding operations, methods and processes.
• Operational and Setup knowledge of automated and robotic weld cells.
• Operational and Setup knowledge of resistance welders.
• Knowledgeable on Welding Specification requirements, print reading, and weld evaluation techniques.
• Weld process, automated fixture and machine trouble shooting skills.
• Other duties may be assigned.
