Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Welder to ensure product quality and process performance across robotic weld cells. You will operate and set up automated welding equipment, read welding specifications, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or related experience), ability to train others, basic math, and physical capability to lift 50 pounds. You must be reliable and demonstrate integrity in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; related experience may qualify.
• Ability to train and work with others (team concept).
• Ability to do basic math.
• Be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity.
• Reliability.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product quality, workmanship and process applications consistent with the company's manufacturing objectives.
• Follows safety guidelines and monitors use of safety devices, equipment, departmental housekeeping, and maintain constant alert for hazardous conditions.
• Maintain conformance with Company work rules and regulations.
• Trained and certified for all welding operations, methods and processes.
• Operational and Setup knowledge of automated and robotic weld cells.
• Operational and Setup knowledge of resistance welders.
• Knowledgeable on Welding Specification requirements, print reading, and weld evaluation techniques.
• Weld process, automated fixture and machine trouble shooting skills.
• Other duties may be assigned.
