Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking 3rd shift Welders for the Fall River Location to operate welding machines and robotic welders, following welding theory and production standards. The role includes reading blueprints, performing basic MIG/TIG welding, and maintaining quality and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• FANUC robotic certification is preferred.
• Certificate or degree in welding is preferred.
• At least 2 years welding experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols.
• Able to communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Dependable and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines and industrial robots to fabricate parts.
• Set controls for wire feed, amperage, polarity, gas and weld rod.
• Inspect welded parts and verify conformance to specs.
• Read job specifications and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Maintain clean workspace and follow safety regulations.
• Report defects and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
