Job summary

The Toro Company is hiring Mig Robotic Welders to operate robotic and hand welders in a clean, efficient production environment. Earn a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new production hires on 2nd shift (3:00pm–1:30am, Mon-Thurs, with occasional overtime Fridays).

Starting wage is $22–$27/hr, based on skillset, with excellent benefits including PTO, insurance, parental leave, and a 401k with company match. Ventrac, located in Orrville, Ohio, is a division of The Toro Company and offers this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years of welding training/experience.
• Maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs regularly and be on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a welding robot and/or perform hand welding to produce accurate weldments/assemblies.
• Read and conform to schematics, drawings and other work instructions.
• Set up jobs by selecting fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, tooling, etc.
