Robotic Weld Technician | Robot Programmer | Automation Technician

Position Summary for Robotic Weld Technician I Robot Programmer | Automation Technician: We are looking for an experienced Robotic Weld Technician, Robot Programmer, or Automation Technician.

Shift Times for this Position:

1. 1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM (8 Hour Days) and 6:00AM to 4:30PM (10 Hour Days). Must be open to working until 4:30 when needed. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
2. 2nd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 2:30PM – 4:30PM to 10:30PM – 2:30AM. Varies between 8 and 10 hours. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
3. 3rd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 9:30PM-11:30PM to 5:30AM-7:30AM. Varies between 8 and 10 hours. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and implement robot programs for automation systems including industrial robots, cobots, and AGVs.
• Collaborate with engineering team to analyze requirements and develop programming solutions for manufacturing automation.
• Configure and customize robot software to meet project specifications, ensuring performance and standards compliance.
• Integrate robotic systems with other equipment and control systems for seamless workflows.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot robotic systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Optimize robot trajectories and motion profiles for efficiency and precision.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and manuals.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-implementation.
• Stay updated with robotics advancements to enhance company capabilities.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in robot-specific languages such as RAPID, KRL, or Fanuc TP.
• Experience with industrial robot programming and integration across various brands (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Motoman).
• Understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.
• Familiarity with automation technologies like vision systems, sensors, and PLCs.
• Experience with offline programming software and simulation tools (e.g., RoboDK, RobotStudio) is desirable.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and robot-to-PLC integration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Robot Axes: 3 to 8 axes.

Compensation Range:

• Hourly: $38.00 to $50.00
• Time and a Half after 40 hours, Double Time on Sundays.
