Job summary

Life Fitness in Minnesota is seeking a Welding Robot Operator to manage robotic welding tasks on a weekend shift. The role requires loading fixtures, inspecting parts, and maintaining equipment safely.

Responsibilities include setting up jobs, loading/unloading parts, monitoring weld quality, and reporting shortages. The position emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and reliability in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented, punctual, with mechanical aptitude and safety focus.
• Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and manufacturing environment experience.
• Welding and/or robot experience is a plus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding robots and monitor robot while running.
• Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures.
• Load and unload parts and perform visual quality inspection of parts.
• Ensure quality of welds and remove weld spatter as needed.
• Tag completed rework jobs appropriately.
• Perform daily equipment inspection.
• Advise supervisor of shortages or poor-quality materials or products.
• Operate hoist to move parts safely into position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
