Job summary

Carli Suspension LLC in Perris, CA seeks a Robotic Welding Operator to set up, maintain and run robotic welding equipment, and to develop welding programs that ensure high‑quality metal assemblies.

You will interpret blueprints, adjust parameters, troubleshoot automation systems, perform preventative maintenance, lift up to 50 pounds, and work safely in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, both independently and within a team. Experience with AC motors and variable frequency drives is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up robotic welding equipment and monitor operation.
• Identify and apply correct welding parameters and procedures.
• Create and modify robotic welding programs; calculate cell cycle times.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on welding robots and equipment.
• Assist in developing weld quality control processes.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components including AC motors and drives.

Description

Robotic Welding Operators are responsible for the set‑up, maintenance, and operation of robotic welding equipment. Robotic Welding Operators are critical to the fabrication of metallic parts or assemblies through welding by the means of a robotic machine. Operators are responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting welding robots.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles of basic welding fundamentals, symbols, and blueprints
• Identify and perform correct robotic welding parameters, welding procedures, operations and programs
• Create robotic welding programs, modify existing welding programs, and conduct welding cell cycle time calculations
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of robotic equipment and welding equipment
• Assistance in development of the weld quality control process
• Be familiar with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, AC motors and variable frequency drives

Requirements

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in robotic arc welding, metals fabrication, automated technology, advanced manufacturing, etc. preferred.
