Webco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator for the day shift (M-F, 7am-3:30pm) to join our growing team in Gardner, KS. The role focuses on programming and operating our automated welding robots to boost production and quality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Robotic Welding experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate automated welding robots with a 10% programming and 90% operating split.
• Provide general programming and engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize current robotic welding programs to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding to robotic cells.
• Work with customers and business teams to transfer new products to the robotic welding equipment.
• Fixture design to facilitate productive and flexible welding of production parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure proficiency of welding team.
• Partner with maintenance to define preventative maintenance schedules and ensure reliable operations.
