Job summary

Formlabs is looking for a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer to support product development cycles and collaborate with design teams. You will integrate firmware and hardware, manage requirements, and design test plans for our 3D printing technology.

The ideal candidate should have experience in designing electro-mechanical systems, knowledge of motion control, and scripting experience in Python, with a passion for hardware debugging. This role offers a competitive salary, equity options, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of motion control, sensors and control algorithms.
• Experience managing system and subsystem requirements.
• Well versed in hardware debugging and passionate about understanding why things work.
• Scripting experience with Python (preferred), Labview, Matlab, etc.

Responsibilities

• Integrate firmware and hardware of subsystems into one system.
• Create and document visual descriptions of systems and subsystems.
• Establish interfaces between sub-systems and define control algorithms.
• Manage sub-system/system level requirements and track changes.
• Design and execute test plans, analyze results.
