Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Surgical Services Coordinator Nurse to lead and manage the Robotic Program within a Level I Trauma Center that operates 24/7. You will oversee the perioperative robotic journey from scheduling to patient and staff education in a 12-room OR suite and 44-bay PACU, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• One year of OR nursing experience with Robotic Surgical Care in GYN, General, Urology and Thoracic patients.
• Registered Nurse: AZ license.

Responsibilities

• Manage robotic surgery schedule and coordinating OR time.
• Order and maintain inventory of EndoWrist instruments and accessories for the DaVinci system.
• Ensure patient receives excellent clinical and service experience from scheduling through perioperative care by supervising OR staff and education.
• Maintain data for key quality indicators to ensure responsive service.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, nursing staff, OR leadership, allied health professionals, patients and families.
