Zekelman Industries’ Atlas Tube division in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Machine Operator – Slitter to set up and operate robotic equipment to form or cut steel to precise specs. This role requires detail-orientation, mechanical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The shift is 7 PM to 5:30 AM, with pay at $25 per hour plus a production incentive bonus. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs, stand long hours, and follow safety and LOTO protocols.

Formación

• Experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Ability to read and maintain production records.
• Proficiency with measuring devices (tape, micrometers, calipers).
• Able to operate forklifts/cranes.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand 10–12 hours.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate slitter machinery to produce tubes per specs.
• Inspect materials for quality before, during, and after production.
• Record production and scrap reports on time.
• Maintain tooling and assist maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety and LOTO rules.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain clean work areas.
