Job summary

Summit Truck Bodies LLC in Wathena, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Programmer to operate and monitor robotic press brakes to manufacture high-quality service and lube bodies. The role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and proficiency with basic computer software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
• Prior experience in manufacturing machine operation or metal fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.
• Knowledge in Google Sheets or Excel is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant demands and shifting of priorities.
• Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Import Bill of Materials into automated software.
• Make programming adjustments in taught computer manufacturing software.
• Verify parts are manufacturable and produced correctly.
• Troubleshoot minor positioning errors or software glitches.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
