Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced Paint Assistant Manager to lead the startup and ongoing operations of a new manufacturing facility. The role focuses on robotic painting, teaching, and programming, ensuring quality and efficiency across first and second shifts.

You will supervise painting technicians, coordinate production activities, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering on process improvements and device reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated robotic painting systems and robot teaching.
• Experience in industrial paint processes, spray equipment, and fluid delivery systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot paint defects and adjust application and curing parameters.
• Ability to provide technical leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and support multi-shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily painting operations across first and second shifts to meet production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to paint technicians, operators, and production personnel.
• Support startup activities, equipment commissioning, process validation, and SOP development.
• Coordinate production activities, staffing, and workflow for efficient paint operations.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in productivity, quality, and equipment reliability.
