Job summary

UNC Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Clayton, Clayton, North Carolina, is seeking an MD/DO Orthopedic Surgeon to join the full-time team. You will be part of a stable group including 2 Orthopedic Surgeons, 1 Sports Medicine Physician and 2 APPs, with robotic-assisted surgery supported by the CORI system.

Fellowship-trained in Total Joint (adult reconstruction/hip & knee arthroplasty) or Orthopedic Foot & Ankle is required.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Total Joint or Foot & Ankle required.
• Board-certified or BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Willingness to supervise APPs.
• Ability to support local high school athletic teams.

Responsibilities

• Join a full-time team with two Orthopedic Surgeons, one Sports Medicine physician and two APPs.
• Alternate clinic and operating room schedule with day and some on-call duties.
• Oversee APPs and participate in robotic-assisted surgeries using the CORI system.
• Collaborate with UNC Health resources and support patient access near home.
