Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Join 6 adult cardiac surgeons and 1 congenital cardiac surgeon.
• Participate in the Northern New England Cardiovascular Disease Study Group and the STS database.
• Engage in clinical or basic research through the MaineHealth Institute for Research.

Skills

Minimally invasive and/or robotically assisted mitral valve repair expertise

Well-trained cardiothoracic surgeon

Education

MD/DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
