Job summary

DeWys Manufacturing is seeking motivated Welders to join our team and advance MIG, TIG, and robotic welding skills. A shift premium applies for 2nd and Weekend shifts.

You will participate in DeWys University training, read blueprints, and assemble parts to customer specifications. Responsibilities include setting up MIG equipment, reading work instructions, finishing parts with grinders, and maintaining welding and grinding machines.

Qualifications

• Welding experience or training required; CWT is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Knowledge of metals, welding robots and grinding equipment.
• Willing to work overtime as necessary.
• Willing to learn fabrication methods beyond welding.

Responsibilities

• Read manufacturing blueprints to produce parts to spec.
• Set up MIG welding equipment for various products.
• Lay out, position, align and fit metal components to weld.
• Read customer work instructions for each job.
• Operate grinders for finish grinding and spot grinding.
• Perform maintenance on welding and grinding machines.
