Lifepoint Health, through Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, seeks a General Surgery Physician to join a team of 3 surgeons and 2 experienced APPs. Ambulatory practice on hospital campus with an intensivist-staffed ICU and inpatient/outpatient wound care.

Call 1:4, locum support, and on-site office operations support efficient patient care. The role offers a structured schedule with 8a-5p Mon-Thu and 8a-2p Fri, plus a range of compensation benefits and professional support

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory practice on hospital campus
• ICU staffed by intensivists
• Inpatient and outpatient wound care
• Call 1:4
• Locum support to ensure work-life balance
• APP covers inpatient rounding
• Dedicated OR assistants
• Office hours 8a-5p Mon-Thu, 8a-2p Fri
• Common procedures include excision of skin lesions, I&D of abscesses or seromas, anoscopy & hemorrhoid banding
