Lifepoint Health, through Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, seeks a General Surgery Physician to join a team of 3 surgeons and 2 experienced APPs. Ambulatory practice on hospital campus with an intensivist-staffed ICU and inpatient/outpatient wound care.

Call 1:4, locum support, and on-site office operations support efficient patient care. The role offers a structured schedule with 8a-5p Mon-Thu and 8a-2p Fri, plus a range of compensation benefits and professional support

Position Details

• 5 provider group: 3 surgeons/2 experienced APPs
• Ambulatory practice on hospital campus
• Intensivist-staffed ICU
• Inpatient and Outpatient Wound Care
• Average patient per clinic day: 15-20
• 3 DaVinci XI Robots
• Call: 1:4
• Locum support to ensure a work-life balance.
• APP covers inpatient rounding
• Dedicated OR assists

Office Practice

• 8a-5p Mon-Thur. 8a-2p Fri.
• Staffed with an on-site manager, nurses, office clerks, and a scheduler.
• Patients are booked in 15-, 30-, or 60-minute increments.
• Common procedures: excision of skin lesions, I&D of abscesses or seromas, anoscopy & hemorrhoid banding
