Job summary

ewi Recruitment seeks a Robotic Field Engineer / Construction Surveyor to support accurate, technology-led surveying across construction and infrastructure projects. The role is on-site, using robotic total stations, GNSS, 3D scanners and CAD/BIM tools to establish control and verify construction quality.

You will review drawings, prepare data, carry out site measurements and set-out works, while maintaining equipment, processing data and producing reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction surveying or engineering surveying.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and coordinate systems.
• Willingness to travel between project sites and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and digital models.
• Prepare survey data and setting-out information.
• Carry out site measurements, topographical and as-built surveys.
• Set out foundations, structural elements, drainage and utilities.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain robotic surveying equipment.
• Process and manage survey data, produce reports and marked-up drawings.
• Identify discrepancies and elevate issues before impacting cost, time or quality.
