Job summary

StrategiQly in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Process Engineer for the Automation Systems Group. You will oversee the form, fit, and function of robotic turn-key systems, coordinating mechanical, pneumatic, and process requirements with a project team.

You will develop technical plans, generate specifications, review budgets and schedules, and support field installation and customer buyoffs. Strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical system knowledge and technical background.
• Strong problem-solving and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team setting.
• Familiarity with ISO-9000, QS-9000; TE Supplement preferred.
• Experience with CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ROBOGUIDE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proposal support and review per assigned application areas.
• Attend internal and customer project kick-off meetings and provide technical expertise.
• Review project budget and provide forecast updates.
• Review project schedule and communicate with the project manager.
• Review customer specifications for planning and meeting requirements.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project technical plan and engineering task list.
• Generate written specifications detailing system functionality.
• Plan and approve all mechanical engineering issues.
• Coordinate design reviews and run-offs with external suppliers.
• Support field installation, debug, and customer plant buyoff activities.
