Job summary

Pacer Group in Kentucky is seeking a Weld Seibi Technician to support new-model chassis and welding equipment projects. This role will be responsible for robot programming, equipment setup and validation, troubleshooting, and supporting manufacturing production launches.

The ideal candidate has hands-on technical or manufacturing experience around robotics and welding, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to travel up to 50% including domestic and international assignments.

Qualifications

1–6 years in technical, manufacturing, welding, robotics, or equipment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on equipment setup, inspection, troubleshooting, and validation.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Team oriented with ability to work overtime.
Ability to support domestic and international project assignments.

Responsibilities

Perform offline and/or online robot programming.
Inspect, prepare, and validate welding and chassis equipment.
Confirm equipment meets standards and works as intended.
Support equipment preparation and installation at vendor sites.
Assist with Seibi activities from installation through start of production.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues.
Collaborate with Seibi team, project leaders, and vendors.
Provide on-the-job training to teammates.
Support manufacturing plants and supplier locations.
Follow standardized work with emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
