Job summary

TRITON METAL PRODUCTS INC. in Hamilton, IN is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator to load/unload robot cells and verify part tolerance. You will read blueprints, measure parts, align fixtures, and follow safety rules to ensure quality welds on metal components used in diverse applications.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of MIG welding principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to use measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading robot welding cells.
• Measuring parts for conformance.
• Position, align, or secure workpieces against fixtures.
• Follow strict safety regulations such as proper PPE and equipment operation.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to verify parts are in tolerance.
• Maintain weld gages and tooling for cleanliness and proper storage or use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment daily.
• Provide accurate and timely communication to designated Tritons regarding production, safety, or maintenance requirements through ECRs and verbal/written contact.

Full Job Description:

• Loading and unloading robot welding cells
