• 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM
• 2nd Shift Starting Pay: $29.38/hour (includes 8% shift premium)
  
  

Job Purpose: Under general supervision, responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of robotic welding equipment and other duties as assigned. Typically reports to a supervisor.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues.
• Programming: Write, modify, and debug Fanuc robot programs to meet production requirements and improve efficiency.
• Repairs: Work with the maintenance team to conduct repairs on Fanuc robots as needed, including replacing parts and components.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with MEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of fabrication and machining practices.
• Must have GMAW welding experience
• Proficient computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints
  
  

Top Qualifications

• 2+ year degree in Robotics
• Robotic experience with: Touch Sensing, Through the Arc Seam Tracking, Position Registers, User Frames, Tool Center Point, Welding/Weaving Schedules, Remastering, and Macros
• Complete understanding of welding defects and weld inspection tools
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures.
• Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free work and adjustment of components and machines.
• Perform other related work duties as assigned.
• Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea
• Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.
• Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean and order work area

Summary Pay Range

$27.20 - $33.95
