Job summary

Yondu Inc. is seeking a Robot Technician to keep our fleet running. You’ll primarily focus on fixing robots that break in the field and in our lab.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical or electrical maintenance, experience with robots or mechatronic systems, and familiarity with Linux. You should be able to troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and software domains and to document repairs and processes. A portfolio is encouraged; CAD/3D printing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly or maintenance in robotics
• Experience working with robots or mechatronic systems
• Familiar with Linux and basic terminal usage
• Able to troubleshoot and document issues across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
• Able to create documentation of assembly/manufacturing processes and troubleshooting
• Able to work in both an R&D environment and a deployment environment
• Portfolio encouraged with application; projects count as experience

• 2+ years of experience with mechanical or electrical assembly or maintenance work in relevant fields (aerospace, drones, automotive, robotics)
• Experience working with robots or mechatronic systems.
• Familiar with Linux and basic terminal usage.
• Able to troubleshoot and document issues across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Able to create documentation of both assembly/manufacturing processes but also for troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Able to work in both an R&D environment and a deployment environment.
• Please include a portfolio with your application if one exists. Projects count toward relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with humanoid robots.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse environments.
• Experience with CAD and 3D printing.
