Continuum Resource Network is seeking an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of delivery robots. This part-time, weekend-based role offers a starting point for a career in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly.

You will prepare robots for deployment, manage charging cycles, perform basic repairs, and assist with service campaigns while learning foundational skills in a rapidly growing industry.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical tools, including measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in assembling and disassembling products and installing custom electronic modules; knowledge of AC/DC currents.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings.
• Soldering skills (a bonus).
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR for the past 12 months.
• Comfortable working in field settings; no CDL required.
• Attention to detail and a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative and adaptable mindset to tackle diverse challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift and ensure hardware and software are ready for deployment.
• Charge robots and batteries overnight for maximum fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and maintain hardware appearance.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Support service campaigns and updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators as hands-on field contact.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment for safe navigation.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized.

We are helping our client hire a a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our delivery robots.

This part-time and weekend-based role is the perfect starting point for individuals looking to build a career in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly. You will ensure our fleet is ready for deployment while learning foundational skills needed to advance in our rapidly growing industry.

As a Robot Service Technician Assistant, you’ll:

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: Manage power cycles to ensure maximum fleet readiness.
• Cleaning robots: Maintain physical appearance and protect sensitive external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: Assist with and execute basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: Help implement widespread hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: Act as the hands‑on field contact for the remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: Ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace for the entire technical team.
