Stellantis Auburn Alabama seeks a Robot Simulation Engineer to advance manufacturing feasibility and design verification using Siemens Process Simulate. You will set up Robot Controller Simulation (RCS), validate robot reach and cycle feasibility, and support supplier studies while maintaining data in Teamcenter.

The role requires hands-on execution from specification to completion with minimal oversight and deep knowledge of robot safety standards and controller integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ years of robotic simulation experience with Siemens Process Simulate.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Process Simulate and RCS setup.
• Experience with robot controllers and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate robot simulation studies using Siemens Process Simulate.
• Set up and configure Robot Controller Simulation (RCS) and controllers for platforms.
• Validate robot reach, access, clearances and cycle feasibility.
• Perform simulation-based feasibility and design verification activities.
• Review supplier simulation studies for quality and accuracy.
• Independently complete simulation tasks across programs per specs.
• Support robot model selection, payloads, and EOAT feasibility.
• Identify simulation risks and escalate significant issues as needed.
• Interface with various robot controllers for offline validation.
• Support robot process, design, and safety simulation reviews.
