Job summary
NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a highly experienced robotics software engineer for the Isaac team. You will build scalable simulation frameworks to train and evaluate robot foundation models on NVIDIA's Omniverse platform and work closely with research to translate cutting-edge ideas into production-ready capabilities.
You will lead architectural decisions, define evaluation standards, and collaborate across Research and Product in a fast-paced environment, applying Python and deep learning tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of robotics, simulation, or robot learning experience, translating research prototypes into production-ready software.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning stacks (PyTorch, Jax).
Responsibilities
- Build simulation frameworks for training and evaluating robot foundation models on top of NVIDIA's Omniverse platform.
- Collaborate with research to design, implement, and evaluate novel robot learning algorithms.
- Lead technical architecture, set evaluation standards, and facilitate cross-team collaboration between Research and Product.
- Contribute to a high-paced software engineering team with design/code reviews, testing, CI, and deployment.
- Train and evaluate robot foundation models and integrate modern LLM/agentic workflows into simulation and robotics.
