The role collaborates with quality teams, maintains equipment, and supports production through preventive maintenance and process optimization. Excellent problem-solving and manufacturing knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate results and concerns to management for decision-making criteria.
• Set up and operate machines that cut, shape, and form metal; maintain safety.
• Set up robotic and resistance weld operations; fixture modifications and adjustments.
• Assist quality with first piece inspection; establish welding parameters.
• Operate and program robotic weld cells; verify and document changes to parameters.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated welding cells and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

IQ Resource Group is seeking a Robot Programmer in Dodge Center, MN. This position is primarily responsible for the operations of Robot equipment to build high quality parts.

Shift: Days are M-Th 6:30am-5pm with some Friday OT as needed.

Pay: $22-24/hr depending on experience

Location: Dodge Center, MN

Essential Duties:

• Communicates results and concerns to management for decision-making criteria
• Adjust and set up and operate machines that cut, shape, and form metal
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Set up of robotic and resistance weld operations
• Fixture modifications and adjustments
• Assist quality with first piece inspection process
• Establish, maintain, and implement welding parameters to support production and Quality Assurance
• Operate and program robotic weld cells
• Responsible for verifying and documenting changes to process parameters
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated welding cells and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be able to understand production quality and outflow impacts and able to judge the product quality level.
• Knowledge and understanding of equipment is related to manufacturing.
