Job summary

Jungheinrich Robotics, based in Munich, seeks a Robotics Implementation Specialist to deploy AMRs at customer sites and deliver hands‑on support across hardware and software. You will troubleshoot complex robotics problems, document fixes, and evaluate performance to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ ROS projects, strong Python and C++ skills, and willingness to travel up to 80% within Germany and Europe.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's in robotics, CS, or mechatronics.
  • Class B driver's license valid in Germany.
  • Two projects with mobile robots using ROS.
  • Advanced Python; knowledge of C++ preferred.
  • Solid understanding of mechanics, electronics, networks, and Linux.
  • Familiar with Git.
  • Willing to travel up to 80% nationally and internationally.
  • Office presence near Munich; fluent English with basic German.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy AMRs at customer sites handling hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot robotics problems and document fixes.
  • Evaluate AMR performance, stability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with project and development teams and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and run AMR demonstrations at global events.
  • Train customers and implementation teams to use our products.
  • Support global Customer Support as needed.
  • Travel up to 80% to Germany and other European countries; 20% office work.

Job description

Your tasks
  • You independently deploy our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) with tasks in hardware and software to deliver reliable installations at customer sites
  • You analyse and troubleshoot complex and exciting robotics problems, including documentation and testing of the resulting fixes
  • You evaluate our constantly evolving AMRs in terms of performance, stability and customer satisfaction
  • You maintain close collaboration with the project & development teams, as well as selected external stakeholders
  • You prepare, deploy and run multiple AMR demonstrations at global events/fairs
  • You train customers and other implementation teams to use our products
  • You support the global Customer Support Teams upon request
  • Max. 80% working time will be spent at our customers or events/fairs in Germany and other European countries, while the remaining 20% are spent on tool and process development in the head or home office
Requirements
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, computer science, or mechatronics or a comparable degree
  • You have a class B driver's license valid within Germany
  • You have completed at least two projects with mobile robots using ROS
  • You are advanced in Python and ideally have some knowledge of C++
  • You have a good basic understanding of mechanics, electronic systems, networks, and Linux administration
  • You are familiar with GIT
  • You have a hands‑on mentality when facing complex problems
  • You are willing to travel (max 80%), both nationally and internationally
  • The job requires some office presence, so ideally, you live in/close to Munich
  • You are business fluent in English and have a basic knowledge of German
