Job summary

Wittmann USA Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Robot Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Torrington, CT. You will assemble mechanical components, read engineering drawings, and use hand and power tools to build subassemblies and finished products.

The role requires basic reading of blueprints, a strong mechanical aptitude, and careful attention to quality. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet

Qualifications

• Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical understanding and attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies per drawings and work orders.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy against BOMs.
• Read drawings and BOMs and perform adjustments as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Meet daily production targets and assist with packaging/testing as needed.
• Record production data and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Be adaptable to overtime and inventory projects as required.
