Job summary

Boxcar Coffee Roasters in Boulder, CO is seeking a Production Assistant to support our roastery and wholesale operations. You will help with order fulfillment, weigh and roast coffee, and keep the roastery space clean and organized, while learning our quality standards daily.

You will participate in cuppings, assist with kegged cold brew production, and assist with deliveries to wholesale accounts along the Front Range.

Responsibilities

Package and ship coffee orders.
Produce Boxcar's kegged cold brew coffee, wash kegs, and maintain cold brew production space.
Deliver orders to wholesale accounts across the Front Range on a weekly delivery route.
Weigh batches for daily roasting*.
Roast coffee to Boxcar's strict standards*.
Maintain coffee roasting machines and other roastery equipment.
Set up and participate in regular cuppings.
Maintain a clean and organized roastery space.
Take on other tasks and duties as assigned.
Roasting begins after the training period and once the employee has demonstrated proficiency in all other key responsibilities
